Introducing a unified UI for chat and search

With Sourcegraph 6.0, we’re updating the chat experience by introducing a unified interface that combines AI-powered chat and code search into a single, seamless UI. This update helps you search, understand, and create code faster and more efficiently, whether you’re in VS Code, JetBrains IDEs, or using Sourcegraph on the web.
What’s new:
- Integrated code search across repositories, in the same UI as chat
- Contextual follow-ups using code search results as context for chat queries
The unified chat experience is launching with beta support for integrated code search, and will be available to Enterprise customers on Sourcegraph 6.0; Enterprise Starter users will have access to these new capabilities immediately. Cody Free and Pro users will continue to benefit from chat improvements but won’t see search results.
