Improvements to Sourcegraph Analytics: Time Filters, Auto-Edit, and Batch Changes Insights
June 24, 2025
We’ve shipped several updates to Sourcegraph Analytics to give you deeper and more flexible insights into how your teams are using Sourcegraph:
Time filters added to the analytics CSV export API
- You can now specify a start and end date when exporting usage reports from analytics.sourcegraph.com, or when calling the API directly. If no date range is specified, exports will continue to default to all-time data. Read our docs for more info.
Auto-edit usage now tracked under the “Completions” tab
- We’ve added metrics and acceptance rates for our new auto-edit feature, giving you better insight into how your team is using one of Cody’s most powerful capabilities. Auto-edit metrics are also available in CSV exports.
Batch Changes usage metrics added to the “Search” tab
- You can now view usage data related to Batch Changes, including a new metric: “changesets published”, which also feeds into our ROI calculator.
These updates improve usability for teams that want to filter analytics by time range, and provide greater visibility into high-value features like auto-edit and batch changes.
