Weekly updates are coming to Sourcegraph Cloud

‍Sourcegraph is doubling down on the future of code understanding. With this renewed focus, we will reimagine how we build, refine, and deliver the best and most reliable products we can to our customers. As part of this, we're excited to share that starting on February 25 2026, we will be transitioning to shipping exciting weekly product updates for Sourcegraph Cloud customers.

Sourcegraph Self-Hosted customers are not affected by this change, and we will continue to provide monthly releases and regular patches for Sourcegraph Self-Hosted.

Why Sourcegraph Cloud

Sourcegraph Cloud is the best way to experience Sourcegraph Enterprise with all the features that come with our platform: Deep Search, Code Search, Batch Changes, Code Insights, the Sourcegraph MCP server, and more.

Sourcegraph Cloud customers get private, dedicated, SOC 2 Type II accredited instances provisioned and managed by a dedicated team of Sourcegraph experts. We maintain 24x7x365 incident response and an uptime SLA.

Because Sourcegraph Cloud is fully managed by Sourcegraph, we will also be able to provide frequent, weekly product updates, as opposed to the monthly releases that we currently apply in alignment with our self-hosted offering, starting on February 25 2026.

What this means for our customers

Weekly updates means that Sourcegraph Cloud customers will get the most cutting-edge features, improvements, and bug fixes at a much faster cadence.

We strongly believe that weekly updates will not only enable Sourcegraph to stay at the cutting edge of the latest technologies, but also to work more closely with our customers to address feedback and iterate on new capabilities. Our customers’ Sourcegraph Cloud experience will remain our top priority:

• Stability and user experience will continue to come first
• This will not affect any SOC2 and ISO27001 controls
• We will still retain the same internal safeguards around testing, quality assurance, and staggered rollouts that you know from today
• We will provide changelogs on what has changed with each weekly update
